Who we are

Echo Web Works ("we", "us") is a UK-based web design service. Contact: myles@echowebworks.co.uk.

What we collect

We do not run analytics, tracking pixels, or cookies on this site. The only personal data we receive is what you send us directly — via email, WhatsApp, or phone — when you get in touch. This is typically your name, email address, phone number, and details about your project.

Why we collect it

Solely to respond to your enquiry and, if you become a client, to deliver the agreed web design services. Legal basis: legitimate interest (responding to enquiries) and contract (once you engage us).

How long we keep it

Enquiry and client correspondence is kept for as long as reasonably necessary for business and accounting purposes, and no longer than 6 years after our engagement ends, in line with UK record-keeping norms.

Sharing

We do not sell or share your data with third parties. Email is handled via Google Workspace/Gmail; WhatsApp messages via Meta's WhatsApp service — each subject to that provider's own privacy terms.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you at any time. Email myles@echowebworks.co.uk and we'll action it within 30 days. You can also complain to the ICO if you believe we've mishandled your data.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "last updated" date above.
